Our Creaform 3D scanners are high end, truly portable, handheld laser scanners. The 3d data acquisition process is dramatically faster with these than many other traditional methods such as tripod based scanners or mechanical arms. It packs into a carry-on luggage size case, and takes only a matter of minutes to fire in to life and be ready to scan.
We use Solidworks Premium for designs. We have worked on many products, on all stages of the design process from concept, right though to working with the manufacturer to ensure accurate and efficient manufacturing. We typically supply .STL or .OBJ files but can convert them to any industry standard 3D format you require for use with your CAD software.
